saturday 6/7/204 was my first time experiencing the NDP parade rehearsal. the crowds gathered at several places around Marina Bay like the Bay East Garden to witness a few flypasts like the helicopters carrying huge Singapore national flags. even when I walked on top of the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, I saw a floating platoon sailing towards Marina Bay for the 21-gun presidential salute and the red lions' skydiving. i could even experience how tight the security was as I was redirected back to the city hall mrt by military personnel. i could have come out at Raffles Place MRT and headed towards the Victoria Theatre close to the Padang for the parade marchpasts. luckily, the marchpasts began thus enabling me to witness them including the colour and corporate regiments.

I wish people would stop comparing Kuala Lumpur with New York.. or any other world class city in Asia with that deposing American city.. KL is far from New York..
